I figured I'd post a place for user-recommended addons for WoW. If you ever find a good addon that you believe the guild should know about, please share it here. I only request that you also post a brief description, why you think its a good addon for yourself and the guild, and a working link to where it can be found. As an example, heres a really good addon that I use and think others should use as well. Gatherer; it is a useful tool that marks the locations of mines, herbs and others on the world and mini map. If you find one of these, Gatherer will send the information to anyone else in your party/guild who also has Gatherer. Here is a link: www.curse.com/downloads/details/24/

The recent patch has been a blessing as well as a curse. My paladin is much more godly than before, but none of my addons work anymore. Any addons that work post-patch would be greatly appreciated and I'll post any good ones that I find.

I have a couple mods that I would definitely recommend to anybody. I don't have a direct link but I'm sure that both wowinterface.com and curse-gaming.com have these mods. I typically get all my addons through the wowmatrix program which I also highly recommend. I did visit curse-gaming.com not long ago and saw that they also have a program similiar to wowmatrix.
Basically, wowmatrix is a program that finds your addons and looks up whether there is an update for them or not and will update all of them for you. They also have a long list of addons to choose from. it's a very nice program. So anyway, here's my fav addons:
ArkInventory: This is the best bag mod I've ever found. It makes all your bags one bag but lets you assign bars within the bag to certain types of items. Deep customization, and automatic sorting of items makes this mod a god send. All items relating to Leatherworking go here, food here, potion there, stuff I always want to send to me AH mule go here, etc etc. Totally cuts down digging through your bags all the time to find where something went.
I can't recommend this mod enough.
Carbonite Quest: This little gem is a fantasitc quest helper. It has a custom map that clearly marks the location of NPCs related to quests and through the use of colored areas on the map shows all the area in which the mobs or items you need for a quest are located. I've yet to have it be wrong about where something is so I'm very impressed with it. No more spending half my time looking around for where the mobs are for a quest.
This mod also puts a ? on the map for any NPCs that are waiting for your return. Sometimes if you got a quest via sharing from somebody else or it's just one you have in your log for awhile, or you just plain forgot where you got the quest and the log is vague about where the NPC is it is useful to be able to just bring up the map and see the ? no matter where you are in relation to it so you know where you gotta go to turn in a quest.
CT mailmod: Since Blizzard introduce multi item mailing this mod isn't as useful as it used to be but it does still allow you to select multiple message in your mailbox and auto open and delete them. This is great if you sell a lot of stuff at the auction house. You can select individual messages or just tell it to open them all. Every item and all cash that it is in mail you tell it to open are put in your inventory bag. This is very useful
CT Viewport: This allows you to resize your screen so that UI pieces are not in the way so much. All of your UI (chat boxes, mini-map, hotbuttons, etc.) can be put on the outside of the actual game screen so that you see more of what is going on. The screen may be smaller but you can see more of what is going on because the UI isn't in the way nearly as much.
Bartender: Awesome bar mod that allows you to resize and change in many different ways how your hotbuttons are displayed. Resizing, moving, and just plain adding more useable bars aside I like this mod because of how it displays the button key bindings more than anything else.
Blizzard UI and most that I have seen annoy this crap out of me the way the key binding is displayed. It's usually something like this: Ctrl+1 is displayed C... this is a major pet peeve of mine. That does me absolutely no good whatsoever. For the most part I know the bindings wihout having to look, but if I need to quickly reference what the binding is for a key I'm not used to using, or if I just have a brain cramp, it would nice to be able to see the actually key binding. Bartender does exactly that. A key binding for Ctrl+1 is displayed as C1, alt+1 is displayed A1, and so on. So for that reason alone I recommend this addon but considering how it makes hot button better all around it is a very good mod to use it indeed.
In Flight: Displays a timer in the flight path window as well as one for when you are in flight. This is great to let you know which place is the fastest to get to and so you know how much longer you have b4 you arrive.
Well, that's the mods I can't live without. Hope that helps anybody looking for mods.

You have to go to a site like Photobucket.com or something like that and turn it into a URL and on the forum is add tags: fourth from the left on the bottom row is the "Insert image" button to add a pic.

Thanks, Celyn! Here's my before/after images. I used Dominoes and metaHUD for my new icon and health/mana bars:
